- This version of Logo Graphics is the Shareware version
-
- Shareware programs require separate payment to the author
- if found useful.
-
- Fees that you have paid other than to me, the author, are
- distribution charges and do not cover the cost of the
- program itself.
-
- To encourage you to register, and thus encourage me to
- write more software you will be interrupted every so often
- by Rachel who would like you to register.
-
- So why should you register?
-
- Registered users will be able to forget abdout Rachel and
- get on with their own work. They will also get notification
- of enhanced versions of Logo Graphics.
-
- You will also get examples of procedures to turn the Turtle
- into a more intelligent beast and a disc based manual.
-
- The program will enable children to become acquainted with
- those areas of the Mathematics National Curriculum which
- specifically mention Logo.
-
- This is not a game or a nine day wonder but a useful
- programming language.
-
- To register your copy of Logo Graphics send a cheque etc.
- for £15 inc VAT to Spottsoft, c/o 14, Union Street, Wells,
- Somerset BA5 2PU.
-
- If you have suggestions for improvements and you describe
- them in your letter they may well be in the next version and
- you will get a free copy.
-
- We have also produced an evaluate function which can be used
- on its own to evaluate mathematical expressions. It is also
- available as a Quick Library for Quick Basic 4.5 users.
- registration for this will cost £10.
-
- In preparation are the an objective test creator for
- teachers. This will take text created by a word processor
- and convert it into an objective (multiple choice) test.
- Registration for this will cost £15.
-
- We are also working on a news room simulation for the PC
- which will give pupils with news messages created by the
- teacher and allow them to release them and pre-determined
- intervals. This can be a very exciting source of information
- for pupils who may be using DTP to create a news page.
- Alternatively they may be using a word processor to enable
- them to create news bulletins to be read at regular
- intervals. Registration for this will cost £15.
